Seeing the Need
Salt therapy was recommended to us by a North Carolina doctor to help treat chronic sinus issues. Thus begin the Halotherapy research, which quickly led to the realization that none are nearby. After making the trips and learning first hand of the positives results - We knew we needed to bring salt therapy closer to home and the idea behind Farmacy on Main began. We wanted to share the benefits of what we had seen first hand with our area and community.
Farm to Store
As 6th generation farmers we both wanted to incorporate natural and local products in the store. We also carry our locally grown sweet potatoes and so much more
Then we heard about Kombucha, a probiotic drink that has been made from bacteria and yeast mixed with black or green tea and sugar, from our marketing friend, Leigh Fowler/Studio 110 Works. After visiting Panacea Brewing Company, trying their local made kombucha, and learning about the many health benefits that kombucha offers, we knew it would fit perfectly in the concept of Farmacy on Main.
